Music is home base for me, but I've got some other passions that I love sharing with others too. In the Spring of 2018 I received my 200 hour yoga teacher training at The Yoga Bridge, just outside of Asheville. Incorporating Native American flute and guitar, I lead groups through a meditative Hatha yoga sequence utilizing breathwork techniques. I've been lucky to co-lead yoga classes with my partner Audra McClleland, and allow her to lead the class as I loop guitar and percussion to create lush soundscapes.

Play Church

Play Church

What began as a desire to create a flash mob, turned into a weekly event called 'Play Church.' Hosted by my friend, Heather Munshaw and myself, we gathered every Sunday to give praise to play! Each week featured a new facilitator who brought his/her own favorite improv games and exercises. Shit was legendary. The freedom of expression I felt on those Sunday afternoons inspired me to pursue improv outside of Play Church, so I began taking classes at Asheville Improv Collective. I've learned a ton from the incredibly talented people of AIC, and this year I'm excited to bring the magic of improv with me to festivals and events- inspiring radical expression, laughter, and community.
